NDA Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria inorder to be eligible for the exam.
Age Limit: Candidates in between 16.5 to 19.5 years can apply. The date of birth is calculated as mentioned on the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation.
Educational qualification: The educational qualification is different for different academies. Candidates can check the educational qualification prescribed for different academies below-
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidates must have passed class 12/HSC under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent from a recognised board or university.
Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy of National Defence Academy: Candidates must have passed Class 12/HSC under 10+2 pattern of school education with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Paper Pattern for PRELIMS
- Total time allowed: 2 hours
- Total number of questions: 100 questions.
- No sectional time limit.
- Total time allowed: 135 minutes
- Total question: 200 questions
- There is sectional time limit for each section.
- One can’t switch between sections.
NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A (Rural Development Banking Service)
Age Limit :
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Ph.D.
Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelor’s degree
Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree from Institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
NABARD Grade A Officer Selection Process
The detailed selection process for NABARD Grade A Officer will have 3 phases. Details are as follows -:
- Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) – 200 Marks
- Phase II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern. – 200 Marks
- Phase III – Interview – 25 marks
